On September 19, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) will host IICA Brazil’s International Technical Cooperation Exhibition at its headquarters in Brasilia.
Representatives of the public sector, universities, private sector, third sector, international organizations, diplomatic corps and rural producers are invited to exchange institutional experiences, present and discuss good practices in the scope of international technical cooperation and contribute to the formulation and implementation of public health policies. conscious and sustainable use of natural resources and rural development and well-being.
The official opening will be attended by representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply; Citizenship; Regional development; and Foreign Relations, through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) and the IICA team at the Institute’s Headquarters.
Afterwards, the guests participate in the launch of the Mais Bio Project, from IICA, to enhance and support access to markets for Brazilian socio-biodiversity products.
Then the presentation of panels begins. There will be four, with the themes: Water Security; Technology and inovation; Commercialization and Safety of Food and Sustainable Production.
After the first two panels, there will be a pause for a presentation of a Brazilian cultural event. Throughout the day, there will be tastings of products from the national socio-biodiversity.
The panels will be presented in a chat show format, with the possibility of integration with the participants through the question application (Sli.do).
The presentations will be made by specialists from the Ministries and companies such as Embasa and Embrapa; the National Water Agency (ANA) and the Secretary of Agrarian Development of the State of Ceará.
The debates will count on the participation of partnership entities such as the KFW Banking Group, the Banco do Brasil Foundation, the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
