Introduction to Techniques for Maintenance and Recovery of Tubular Wells
2 de June de 2021 - 12:00 - 13:00
Tubular wells need special care to have their useful life extended and to guarantee a quality water supply. Over time, wells can show a decrease in flow, change in water quality, signs of corrosion or encrustation of pipes and other components.
To avoid unforeseen events and keep the wells functioning without interruptions, it is recommended to carry out periodic maintenance on the wells.
In this webinar, we will introduce, in an introductory way, the most common techniques for the maintenance and recovery of deep tubular wells, used to capture groundwater.
A summary of the techniques, their benefits and the expected results after their application will be presented.
We will also discuss the ideal periodicity for preventive maintenance of wells and the main steps for its execution.
A geologist graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista, Fernando Zulian has over 30 years of experience in well drilling and consulting, covering project and operations management, acquisitions and due diligence, and business development. Mainly working in the mining, water supply and oil and gas industries, Fernando has managed everything from small projects to projects worth 35 million dollars. The projects involved drilling vertical and directional wells for lowering the water table and water supply, geological and hydrogeological characterization through geophysics, environmental monitoring, as well as the implementation and operation of water and effluent treatment systems.
