Prevention and mitigation of aquifer contamination caused by well construction problems

Water Services and Technologies Geologist Fernando Zulian will present the webinar “Prevention and mitigation of aquifer contamination caused by well construction problems” which will cover the basic procedures that must be adopted during the construction of a tubular well, to ensure the correct protection of the same, avoiding the infiltration of surface and sub-surface water, potentially contaminated, into the well. In addition, alternatives will be presented to mitigate the constructive problems of wells, related to the poor execution of sanitary protection.

The purpose of this webinar is to transmit basic information to professionals who intend to make use of groundwater, in order to meet the standard ABNT NBR 1224 – Construction of a well to collect groundwater.
