3D FEATHER MODELING: FROM THE CONCEPTUAL TO THE NUMERIC MODEL IN A FULLY INTEGRATED WAY

Mathematical modeling of groundwater flow and transport of contaminants is a tool that assists risk assessment in defining future measures to be adopted in a given contaminated area. Regulatory agencies and bodies, such as CETESB through its Board Decision DD-038/2017 placed three-dimensional plume modeling as a mandatory activity in the investigation and analysis of risk and remediation of contaminated areas.

In this 1-hour webinar it will be presented how Visual MODFLOW Flex facilitates 3d plume modeling, from the construction of a conceptual model, with the development of the geological structure, location of wells and boundary conditions, to the execution of the numerical model through different meshes and methods. In this software it is also possible to simulate multiple scenarios and directly compare them in a transparent and direct way.
