The webinar “Use of Coloring Tracers for Infiltration Analysis in Underground Mines” is now available on the WST Youtube Channel

#WST has one of its pillars to spread knowledge and, therefore, launched in 2019 the WST youtube channel, in which several webinars offered are gradually made available for you to watch at the place and time you want. The last addition to the channel was the webinar offered at the end of May: “Use of Coloring Tracers for Infiltration Analysis in Underground Mines” In this webinar, Nilson Guiguer discusses how the use of this technique can answer 4 main questions:

  • – Where the water goes
  • – How long does it take to get there
  • – What happens on the way
  • – How does surface and ground water interact

The tracers also help in the definition of hydrogeological parameters and the speed of the water.

In the webinar offered, we indicate some references, among them the Manual for Studies of Coloring Tracers in Groundwater developed by Ozark Groundwater Laboratory. To download click on the button below:

We will soon publish the agenda of webinars that we plan to offer in the coming months, if you have any suggestions leave the topic of interest in the comments, while taking the time to watch or re-watch the webinars offered on the channel!
