Water Services and Technologies has successfully completed the course: Planning and Advanced Analysis of Slug Test Results, Pumping Tests and Well Efficiency.
In this course, offered on May 13th and 14th, the best techniques for planning and interpreting pumping tests were discussed, using traditional analytical solutions (Theis, Hantush, Neuman, etc.) with the Aquifertest software, as well as inverse numerical models. , with PEST and MODFLOW, which allows interpretation in complex aquifers, without limitations of filters, partially penetrating wells, etc.
It was a great satisfaction to be able to take this course and have the opportunity to interact and exchange experiences with qualified professionals from different regions of the country. The learning week continues this Wednesday, May 15th, with the beginning of the Flow and Transport Modeling course of Contaminants in Groundwater.
