Description
The Micro-Diver®, manufactured by vanEssen Instruments, is a submersible datalogger designed for uninterrupted, real-time, and long-term water level monitoring. It utilizes a pressure sensor when submerged at a fixed level below the water surface, allowing it to measure the hydrostatic pressure of the water above its diaphragm to calculate the total water depth. Despite its small size, with a diameter of 18 mm and a length of 88 mm, the Micro-Diver autonomously measures pressure and temperature, recording the values in its internal memory.
The Micro-Diver is ideal for surface and groundwater applications and is specifically designed to monitor wells or transmission points that are too small to accommodate larger dataloggers.
