Water Services and Technologies Kazakhstan will offer in-person training on planning, executing and interpreting hydrogeological tests in AquiferTest Pro and Groundwater Modeling in Visual MODFLOW Flex.

The course will be held from April 29 to May 3, 2024 by instructors Mauro Prado M.Sc. and Yernat Assenov and will provide a broad understanding of the techniques and methodologies used in aquifer test interpretation and groundwater modeling.

Mauro Prado is a geologist with a master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, a specialist in hydrogeology and has more than 20 years’ experience in consulting projects in multiple countries. Yernat Assenov is a hydrogeologist with more than 10 years’ professional experience in hydrogeological engineering and water resources management in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
