The directors of Water Services and Technologies were welcomed for lunch at the official residence of the Brazilian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Marcel Biato, in a meeting dedicated to aligning priorities for the Central Asia Water Conference 2025, indicating an increasingly strategic cooperation agenda.
During the conversation, the growing role of water resources in Kazakhstan’s relations with its neighboring countries was highlighted, a topic that projects water as a vector for regional dialogue and economic security, paving the way for technical decisions with impact.
The Conference — promoted by Water Services and Technologies in collaboration with the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University, the Graduate School of Public Policy, and the Embassy of Brazil — brings together experts, regulators, and mining leaders to explore the intersection between public policy, data management, and water management, creating a forum where science and governance meet.
As one of two Brazilian companies operating in Kazakhstan, Water Services and Technologies has been active in the country since 2017 in water resource projects for mining and is now expanding its scope to government and agricultural initiatives, connecting Brazilian experience and applied innovation to strengthen regional water resilience.
In the end, Ambassador Marcel Biato’s reception was recognized by Water Services and Technologies as a step that builds bridges between diplomacy, technology, and execution, a move that positions the Central Asia Water Conference 2025 as a stage for decisions capable of redefining water management in Central Asia, with Water Services and Technologies ready to help develop this next chapter.
