Exhibition ‘Birds of Brazil’ promotes environmental awareness in Kazakhstan.

The “Birds of Brazil” exhibition by British artist Jenevora Searight was presented in Astana, Kazakhstan, with the participation of Water Services and Technologies (WST), the Embassy of Brazil in Kazakhstan, WEG, and Haileybury Astana International School.

Jenevora Searight lived in Brazil for many years, during which she was inspired to document the richness of Brazilian fauna through her art. Throughout her career, she joined scientific and photographic expeditions, capturing birds in their natural habitats, including the Amazon Rainforest and the Pantanal, which gave authenticity and depth to the works displayed in the exhibition.

The event aimed to raise environmental awareness and emphasize the importance of preserving biodiversity, especially in the context of global discussions on climate change, such as those addressed at COP30.
