In partnership with IngeoExpert, Water Services and Technologies offers a course in Numerical Groundwater Modeling using FEFLOW.
The president of Water Services and Technologies, Nilson Guiguer, will present the content in Spanish. The 50-hour program will cover essential practical and theoretical topics for groundwater modeling, such as:
- Basic concepts of hydrology and hydrogeology
- Building a conceptual model
- Basic concepts of numerical aquifer simulation
- Building a flow simulation model
- Forecasting and analysis of future scenarios
- Hydrological planning and management
During the last 10 days of the course, students can take advantage of a temporary FEFLOW license to solve the practical questions raised in the program.
About FEFLOW – This is finite element flow modeling software developed by DHI, a world reference with over 40 years of development.At the end of the training, all students who complete the modules and practical tests will receive a certificate of participation. Places are limited.
