On Monday morning, November 20th, we welcomed Martina PetranikovΓ‘, PhD, a renowned researcher and professor from Chalmers University in Sweden, to our office in Belo Horizonte (MG).
During her visit, Martina shared with the Water Services and Technologies Hydrogeochemistry team insights into metal recovery from primary and secondary sources.
The information shared represents innovative studies carried out by the researcher, who is a member of the Industrial Materials Recycling Group at Chalmers University.
Martina PetranikovΓ‘ is internationally recognized for her expertise in hydrometallurgical processes applied to metal recovery.
Her field of research encompasses several innovative technologies, including leaching, solvent extraction, precipitation, electrowinning, among other approaches.
