As another incredible chapter draws to a close, Water Services and Technologies celebrates the achievements of 2023, when we reached a notable milestone in the expansion of our national and international activities.

Services:
Our team of hydrogeologists, geotechnical engineers, geochemists and environmental specialists offers a wide range of services in hydrogeological studies, geotechnical analysis, groundwater modeling and environmental data management.
This year, we are offering innovative approaches to major companies in Brazil and around the world.

In the year just ended, we entered the energy transition market by providing services to Litio Minera (Argentina).

In addition, we supported Schlumberger with services focused on lithium and carbon capture, in line with our company’s vision of sustainability.

Products

In 2023, we offered innovative technologies for geological and environmental challenges. In addition to being an authorized distributor for Van Essen, Waterloo Hydrogeologic and Bentley in Brazil, we focus on developing our own solutions to meet our clients’ needs. In addition, we leverage integrations of our products to offer even greater operational efficiency, time and resource savings, as well as continuous innovation.

Visual Water Balance

In partnership with Vale, Water Services and Technologies has developed a system that allows users to create and manage operational water balances dynamically and autonomously, providing a spatial visualization of water circuits and their indicators.

This solution is being used by other companies, contributing to sustainability by identifying opportunities for reuse, priority areas for monitoring and generating the reports required by the ESG area.

WST Fielder

We have also developed the WST Fielder application, which allows for the collection of a variety of data in the field, with direct transmission to the user’s database. This means that the data collected is always standardized and errors in data annotation and transcription are minimized.

Partnerships for product distribution

We also celebrate the continuity of our partnerships with renowned organizations that develop products and technologies.

• Waterloo Hydrogeologic, developer of the renowned data management software (HGA), hydrogeological modeling (Visual MODFLOW), geochemical interpretations (Aquachem), and aquifer test interpretation (AquiferTest).
•     Van Essen Instruments, developer of the water level measurement sensor, Diver.
•     Bentley Systems, which we represent in the PLAXIS line of geotechnical software.

Water Services and Technologies is the sole and exclusive representative of Waterloo Hydrogeologic and Van Essen and Channel Partner of Bentley in Brazil.

Training

In line with Water Services and Technologies‘ commitment to promoting knowledge in its areas of expertise, this year we offered a wide range of online and customized courses, as well as a series of webinars and workshops throughout the year.

Topics covered included Data Management, Hydrogeotechnics, Tailings Densification, Modeling, Hydrogeochemistry for Mining, Hydrogeological Testing, FEFLOW, AquiferTest and others.

Water Services and Technologies is proud to offer world-class services and the proof of this is that we are increasingly being asked to provide services to companies outside of Brazil.

To better meet this demand, we opened two new physical offices in 2023: Water Services and Technologies Canada, Inc., based in Waterloo, Ontario, led by Chalew Debebe and Martin Draeger, two experienced professionals in the fields of hydrogeology and the environment, and Water Services and Technologies CIS, based in Semey, Kazakhstan, led by Yernat Assenov, with extensive experience in mining.
