In line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Saudi Aramco is implementing a series of actions to prudently manage the use of groundwater in its operations, implement water conservation policies and maximize the reuse of wastewater.

Water Services and Technologies, in partnership with Waterloo Hydrogeologic, was contracted to provide training for Saudi Aramco’s Groundwater Section.

The “Groundwater Fundamentals for Oil and Gas Professionals” course covers various topics from Water Well Drilling and Completion Techniques; Groundwater Flow Principles; Contaminated Site Investigation and Remediation; Natural Water Quality Assessment; Groundwater Modeling and Monitoring Networks.
