In May 2023, Water Services and Technologies completed another stage in the implementation of the hydrogeological monitoring data management system for Mosaic Fertilizantes’ Tapira unit.
The company is one of the world’s largest producers and traders of phosphate and potash.
In addition to implementing the system, which used Hydro GeoAnalyst (HGA) software, and migrating historical data from the last 20 years, interactive panels were also developed in Power BI to facilitate the daily management of Fluviometry, Hydrogeology and Precipitation information.
Part of the work was carried out in person at Tapira unit, where our team follows the work of the hydrogeologists to understand the flow of the site.
Part of the project is to train future users of the system, which is why HGA’s geologist and Domain Expert, Sabrine Moraes, gave personalized training to hydrogeologists and technicians working at the unit.
“This way, we’ll combine theory and practice, with assisted exercises on the tool,” says Sabrine.
Also in 2023, Hydro GeoAnalyst will be deployed at the AraxΓ‘ site, another step towards improving MOSAIC’s hydrogeological and environmental data management.
